Pixel were approached by Luxtripper who were looking for an agency to handle a complete rebrand and website overhaul as they were investing heavily in their online infrastructure.
Being a digital business, the brand and website was paramount to the company's plans to enter the travel market and we got to work with the current team at Luxtripper in creating a modern but professional brand for the business. We worked on the branding itself, along with design and development of the website and blog.
We began by working closely with the Luxtripper team on identifying their aims and objections for the company being a start-up, fresh out of London. Our main objectives here were to:
Following the initial meetings, we quickly moved onto the design phase, particularly focussing around the market research to begin with.
Our designers started to look at the main goals for the project, creating a plans which enabled them to work through the following processes:
With the branding, we were looking to create a colour palette and brand identity, which involved researching the travel market, understanding the clients service and creating visuals that were in line with the target audience.
Looking at market leaders within the travel industry and across various markets, our design team continued to formulate a visual direction for the brand and website.
Before moving too far into the wireframe and design phase for the website, it was important to portray our plans for the brand and colour palette at an early stage, as this would set the foundations for the remainder of the project.
Various iterations of logo concepts, branding ideas and colour palettes were trialled as part of this process, working closely with the Luxtripper team in the process.
Our design team finalised the brand styling, logo and theme for the new Luxtripper, at which point the structural design and layout of the new website was the primary focus.
Wireframes outlined the positioning and structural methodology which were then branded up and provided to the client as full design concepts.
Following the sign off of the design phase, our front end development team began to translate the signed off designs into code. The team worked directly with the Luxtripper development team, who had previously developed their back end systems.
The website developed by Pixel was heavily integrated with several Luxtripper systems to handle enquiries, bookings, search analytics and tracking.
Luxtripper have worked with Pixel regularly since the launch of the rebrand and we provide extensive development and support to their in house development team to enhance and improve all aspects of their online processes. This includes the main Luxtripper website, blogs, booking systems and back end software.
